AN INVITATION TO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
Dear Teachers,
Are you looking for a little enrichment for your students? An activity that readily bridges curriculum and lesson plans? An exercise which sparks creativity and reinforces instruction?
No, this is not some kind of gimmick or hoax. Nor is it an impossible promise to make each of your students pass a test or perform better in class.
It is, though, an appeal to be part of something innovative, long lasting, and far-reaching. Something that applies to all disciplines and is appropriate for any grade or ability level. Something that gives the classroom experience a different shape.
SpaceArc, Voice of a Planet, cordially invites you to participate in its latest venture, the creation of an archive which will be launched into a long-life earth orbit, 22, 500 miles above the Equator. In addition, this archive will be accessible via The Internet at the SpaceArc web site, spacearc.com for the purpose of learning and cultural sharing. There is no cost whatsoever to participate. You and your students are encouraged to submit creative works, including poetry, essays, drawings, written music, personal and political convictions.
Thank you for your interest in SpaceArc. We hope you and your students will join us in this optimistic and dramatic endeavor. To participate, click here.
Sincerely,
SpaceArc Education Committee
